MikeMurdock (also known as MikeRugar) is the former admin of Spritewars, and was one of the Founding Fathers of the site. He was well renknowned for his spriting abilities, and ability to tell a great story.
Biography
MikeMurdock was one of the original players and founders of Spritewars in 2004, along with StormSpotterFox. He first joined the Metal Slug Database around 2002, and has played many factions.

Community Issues and Retirement
Being an admin, Mike had to deal with many stupid situations.This lead to personal issues with many community members, including Shiki, Skurge, and IvanTheMouse. He also had issues with his new head watchman, Monstarules, because they did not see eye to eye on moderation. Due to newly formed health issues, lack of patience and aforementioned issues with community members, loss of old materials, Monstarules becoming the new administrator, and having served as an admin for over 10 years, Mike decided to retire himself from SpriteWars, permanently. We don't when Mike first developed his health troubles, but the stress of dealing with troublesome new members who either didn't know what "lurk more" meant or had to be kicked anyway was surely a factor.
He still however sprites and does art, and maintains his own spriting server, where many people are "not allowed" (including Skurge, IvanTheMouse, and Monstarules).
Spriting Abilities
Mike has probably made more sprites than any other person on the site. A lot of them are ripped and edited from various video games and many more are customs based of vehicles and weapons from various games and Anime. He also has a HUGE amount of free to use sprite sheets. MikeMurdock, like many users on Spritewars, suffered greatly due to the death of Majhost.
He was also well reknowned as a good player in the campaigns, as he could formulate and tell a good story.
